We rely on the generosity of the community, who by donating their pre-loved goods are helping us to continue caring for those in our community who need us.
Donating goods to our shops is easy, just drop your donations off at any of our 8 shops during their opening hours.
Types of Donations we appreciate:
- Good quality furniture and homewares
- Small electrical items
- Ladies, men’s and children’s clothing & accessories
- Jewellery
- Bric-a-brac
- Books & DVDs
- Toys, jigsaws & games
- Vintage and retro items
Some of our smaller shops are unable to store large or bulky donations. If you have a number of bags or boxes or a large item to donate, please do give the shop a call first to make sure they have enough space to accommodate your donation.
While we are grateful to anyone thinking of donating to us, there are some things we can’t accept because we won’t be able to sell them.
This might be because it would not be ethical or safe, or because it will cost the charity to dispose of them.
These include:
Sofas and upholstered armchairs without fire labels
- Damaged, ripped, stained or broken items
- Duvets and pillows
- Children’s car seats and high chairs
- Plastic coat hangers
- Prams, pushchairs or cots/cot mattresses
If in doubt, please ask your local shop before donating.

If your item or load is large, we can organise for our van to come and collect directly from your home. We currently only have one van, so we ask you to be patient if you would like to use this service. We will contact you to let you know when the van will call to collect your donation. To book a collection with our van, please call 01642 628930 or 01388 609763, and we will arrange a date and time to collect your donation.
