Butterwick Hospice at Stockton provides services to the communities Stockton and Teesside. These include Complementary Therapy, Physiotherapy, Group Sessions and Counselling, for people suffering from life limiting illnesses. This is also where our Adult Inpatient Unit is based.
Day Services
The services at our Stockton Day Hospice are always evolving in relation to the needs of the communities it serves, and the services we offer are usually provided to adults with a life-limiting illness who require non-medical, therapeutic support.
Complementary Therapy
We offer a range of Complementary Therapies at our Stockton Day Hospice, such as aromatherapy massage and reflexology, all of which are administered by qualified and experienced practitioners. When you start complementary therapy, your therapist will work with you to identify your concerns and needs and develop a therapy plan that best suits you.
All services are provided free of charge to anyone who has been accepted for care from the Hospice.
Stockton Group Sessions
Our Group Sessions offer a great opportunity to meet people facing similar challenges. This can help to alleviate fears and feelings of isolation. The Stockton Group Sessions offer an informal social environment where you can chat, meet new friends and get help and advice for yourself and your loved ones – find out more here.
