Volunteer Retail Assistants – Linthorpe.
For 40 years, Butterwick Hospice has supported local people and communities across our regions of Teesside and County Durham. We provide holistic care for children and adults living with a life-limiting illness, as well as support for their families and loved ones. We believe in embracing life’s journey with compassion and care and aim to make every day the best it can be for each of our patients and their loved ones.
Do you have some spare time – then why not volunteer with us ?
Everyone has their own reasons for volunteering, often it is due to having some personal contact or experience with the hospice and a wish to give something back to us , but for others it can be to provide :
- A sense of achievement and purpose
- A feeling part of a community
- Improved self-esteem and confidence
- A sharing of talents, learning new skills, and creating a better work-life balance
- Combatting stress, loneliness, social isolation, and depression
- Meeting new people, which can help you feel more connected and valued
