Fresh New Look for our Children’s Hospice Garden
In July 2023, we welcomed an army of Corporate Volunteers from a number of local companies, who gave up their precious time to transform our Children’s Hospice Garden – and the results were truly amazing!
For the children who attend our Hospice, the garden is such a special place, but was in need of a refresh to bring it back to life, so the children could once again make full use of the space, which is filled with specialist equipment that makes play accessible to those with specific or additional needs and lots of sensory elements that the children love, as well as special quiet spaces which offer calm and peace to the children and their families.
From the start, our volunteers were off….weeding, chopping, painting, sanding – they had a goal and nothing was going to stop them, even the weather was kind!
